Membuat Virtual Aksesoris Sound system pada Ogan Tunggal (OT)

mungkin sebelumnya banyak rekan2 atau abang / kakak-kakak awak yang sudah tau atau ingin mengetahui bagaimana systemnya.
Dan sangat banyak sekali khushusnya para pengusaha atau Player yang ingin tampil keren atau ingin memaksimalkan perangkat keyboardnya yang kurang baik dengan membawa laptop ke panggung OT
baik itu untuk memutar sampler atau sampling atau juga bahkan hanya untuk memutar AUDIO seperti MP3 dan lainnya yang penting GAYA...

tapi kali ini saya membuat tulisan bukan untuk sampling, karena artikel yang berhubungan dengan sampling sudah pernah saya tuliskan, yaitu cara mengkonekkan keyboard ke pc yang bisa di lihat disini : http://www.ferrysiregar.com/2011/08/cara-mengkonekkan-keyboard-ke-pc.html dengan menjadikan PC / LAPTOP sebagai sound module yang bisa di lihat disini http://www.ferrysiregar.com/2011/08/menjadikan-pc-laptop-sebagai-sound.html , tapi untuk Virtual aksesories sound system.

Virtual aksesories sound system itu, dimana kita menggunakan equalizer, crossover, compressor, limiter, Speaker Management
dan lainnya secara virtual atau menggunakan software..

apa aja yang di butuhkan ya bang atau adek.. itu mungkin pertanyaan anda.
yang di butuhkan :

1. PC atau Laptop yang memiliki spect :
- memori / ram : minimal 4Gb
- LCD : khusus untuk PC
- Hardisk : 350 Gb
- Prosecor minimal di atas core2duo semakin tinggi semakin baik.
- Software Windows ( hal ini karena saya pakai windows jadi sebagai OPTION)

langkah 2x selanjutnya melakukan penginstalan...
1. instal windows xp pada komputer anda
2. instal software daw seperti nuendo pada komputer / laptop anda
3. instal Driver soundcard pada PC / LAPTOP anda
4. Instal VST pada Laptop / PC anda

setelah melakukan penginstalan, selanjutnya mengkonekkan perangkat..
colokkan soundcard ke PC / laptop anda, pastikan pada saat mengkonekkannya PC / LAPTOP dalam kondisi mati
selanjutnya hidupkan PC / LAPTOP anda...
untuk soundcard yang berinput dan output banyak mungkin ini bisa jadi solusinya, tp sayang untuk saat ini saya belum menemukan soundcard yang USB yang memilki in dan out yang banyak



langkah selanjutnya buka nuendo anda, dan melakukan configurasi....
caranya :
1. buka nuendo seperti pada gambar :

langkah ke 2 klik tulisan device dan pilih VST CONNECTION, yang gambarnya seperti ini di bawah ini :



selanjutnya klik add bus inputnya dan akan kebuka tampilan seperti ini

selanjutnya setelah memasukkan ADD bus di input, pilih di tab sebelah untuk outnya
dengan cara yang sama, yaitu mengklik kembali add bus nya, sebagai catatan nilai count itu, tergantung dari banyaknya input dan output yang di miliki soundcard anda...

setelah melakukan configurasi, saatntya kembali ke halaman utama NUENDO
buat track audio baru sebanayk jumlah yang di inginkan sebagai contoh saya buat 2 track...
bnasik dasar NUENDO bisa di lihat di sini : http://www.ferrysiregar.com/2011/08/tutorial-belajar-nuendo-4.html . selanjutnya klik out pada track dan ganti menjadi out1, 2 dan seterusnya di tiap track yang berbeda
seperti pada gambar berikut :


langkah berikutnya nya TEKAN F3 pada keyboard anda maka akan keluar tampilan mixer NUENDO seperti yang di atas :
langkah selanjutnya klik symbol e pada track yang ingin di masukkan plugin FX di input tracknya... seperti pada gambar ini dan pilih pluginnya :


setelah anda masukkan plugin di input, lakukan hal yang sama di out per tracknya, untuk memasukan plugin atau sound system aksesorisnya seperti compressor, limiter dan lain2nya dengan cara yang sama, dan hasilnya juga seperti pada gambar yang DI ATAS...

biar semuanya dapat berfungsi maka, di tiap tracknya anda bisa menekan symbol monitor yang di lambangkan dengan gambar speaker atau dengan tombol record yang di symbol dengan tanda bulat seperti pada gambar :


setelah melakukan semuanya, maka anda harus menyimpannya, karena kalau main di tempat lain, tinggal membuka datanya aja,, cukup mudah bukan, jadi anda tidak perlu mensetting ulang alat anda jika bermain atau perform di tempat yang sama :D
jadi dalam hal ini, anda hanya cukup membawa :
1. player
2. vocalis.
3. komputer dan soundcard
4. power
5. speaker
6. stand speaker (optional)
7. keyboard
8. standbook (optional)
9. LCD
10. Dompet untuk pembayaran setelah selesai perform :D wakakkakakak

M-16DX System Program Version 2.0
This archive contains MIDI files to update the M-16DX System Program via USB port. The following functionality has been added:
  • DAW controller function
  • Scene Edit function
  • The number of scenes has increased from eight to sixteen
This update is via MIDI, therefore a MIDI sequencer is required to transfer the SMF files to the M-16DX. Depending on the sequencer, it may not be able to playback large amount of system exclusive messages. Note to PC Users: If you are having problems sending these files from your sequencer, or if you need a sequencer to send these files, download the PCSMF Update Application located here. If you do not have a program to unzip this download, you can download WinZip here. Note to Mac Users: You will need the UPD SMF Update Application if you do not have access to a sequencer program.

Sejarah Perkembangan Synthesizer

SEJARAH SYNTHESIZER

Tahun 1870 | Electromechanical Piano
Electromechanical Piano di ciptakan oleh Hipps, seorang director sebuah perusahaan telegraph dari Swiss.

Tahun 1906 | Telharmonium
Thadeus Ca hill menemukan Tell harmonium, sebuah music instrument yang sound-ya dihasilkan lewat sebuah dynamo.

Tahun 1920 | Tabung Vacum
Alat musik ( music instruments ) ini berbasiskan tabung hampa ( tube vacuum ) pertama di ciptakan oleh Leon Theremin yang berasal dari Russia. Sebelumnya tabung vakum ( tube vacuum ) nya sendiri sudah di patent-kan oleh Lee De Forest pada Tahun 1906

Tahun 1930 | Hammond Organ
Diciptakan pertama kali oleh Laurent Hammond, sejak pertama di perkenalkan, langsung mendapatkan sambutan yang luar biasa. Mulai th. 1935 music instrument ini di produksi massal ( mass product ). Cara kerja instrument ini berdasarkan 91 kipas generator electro magnetic, sehingga menghasilkan sound yang khas.

Tahun1940 | Vocoder
Homer Dudley berasal dari America, menciptakan sebuah instrument dimana sumber frequency sound-nya berasal dari suara manusia. Instrument ini dinamakan Vocoder ( Voice Operated Recorder ). Dasar-dasar Digital Recording yang berkembang hingga saat ini, adalah mengambil dari concept cara kerja instruments ini.

Tahun1952 | Synthesizer
Harry Olson dan Belar dari RCA Studio America Serikat adalah yang menemukan instrument ini. Cara kerjanya seperti computer yang berdasarkan kode biner ( binary code ).

Tahun 1960 | Moog
Adalah Prof. Robert Moog yang telah menciptakan instrument ini, dan berhasil sukses dalam penjualannya. Principe kerja Moog Synthesizer ini berdasarkan component transistor secara manual. Moog ini menjadi cikal bakal terlahirnya keyboard-keyboard dan synthesizer-synthesizer modern.

Tahun 1963 | melotron
Memasuki awal th. 60-an, cara kerja instrument electric mulai banyak yang bergeser dengan memanfaatkan IC ( Integrated Circuit) dan Melotron adalah salah satu yang berhasil mengembangkanya. Cara kerja nya, IC ( Integrated Circuit) sebagai perekam ( recorder ) sound atau di sebut dengan technique sampling sebagai sound generator-nya. Tehnik ini akhirnya di adopsi oleh synthesizer-synthesizer modern generasi berikutnya.

Tahun 1970 | Keyboard and Synthesizer
Mulai pada tahun ini Japan menguasai pasar music dunia dengan merk-merk andalan seperti Roland, Kawai, Korg, Yamaha. Yang di tonjolkan oleh product-product ini adalah simple dan gampang di operasikan.

Tahun 1971 | Electone
Produsen instrimen Yamaha membuat Elect one ( Electronic Tone ). Di buat dengan concept One Player Hand. Secara physic instruments ini mirip seperti Organ, namun di lengkapi dengan fitur Sound Banks, rhythm section, dimana irama atau beat-beat tertentu sudah ter-program secara built-in.

Tahun 1980 | Portasound
Yamaha kembali membuat kejutan dengan merilis Porta sound seri PSR 10. Alat ini bentuknya lebih sederhana dibandingkan dengan Elect one. namun memiliki fitur-fitur layaknya synthesizer professional. Pada era ini pengguna Keyboard Synthesizer mulai bergeser pada instrument jenis ini.

Tahun 1982 | MIDI
Pada Tahun ini di temukannya MIDI ( Musical Instrument Digital Interface ) atau Bahasa antar instruments. Pada awalnya para produsen memiliki standard pem-program-an sendiri-sendiri, sehingga masih ada kendala apabila ingin menghubungkan dua instrument musik dari produsen yang berbeda. Pada tahun berikutnya beberapa perusahaan seperti Korg, Roland, Sequential, Yamaha, Kawai, Oberheim, bersepakat untuk membuat standard MIDI, agar setiap instrument dapat di hubungkan secara MIDI dan masing-masing dapat memahami instruction-nya. Lalu standard ini di ikuti sebagian besar produsen instruments music di seluruh dunia.

Tahun 1983 | DX7
Synthesizer DX7 buatan Yamaha adalah yang mengawali suksesnya dalam menerapkan standard midi disertai fitur yang memungkinkan sebuah Synthesizer dapat di hubungkan dengan PC ( Personal Computer ). Karena keunggulanya, pada masa ini synthesizer DX7 banyak digunakan musician-musician dunia seperti Duran duran, A-ha, dsb. Pada era ini pula sebagian besar musician sedang di landa demam MIDI, kalo nggak midi nggak modern. Musician yang ikut andil dalam berkembangnya MIDI di Indonesia adalah Fariz RM, Aminoto kosin, dsb.

Tahun 1989 | PC
PC atau Personal Computer mulai pada masa ini berkembang cukup pesat, dunia music tak ketinggalan terkena dampaknya. Para produsen seperti Steinberg, Twelve tone System, Prophelhead, Ableton, Adobe, dsb. Mengembangkan berbagai jenis software musik sequencer, editing, atau player. Dan kini segala jenis pekerjaan music format Midi ataupun Audio dapat dilakukan cukup dengan memiliki sebuah PC atau Personal Computer.

Tahun 2000 | Virtual Instrument
Pengolah music ber-basic software semakin lama semakin berkembang, maka bermunculan Sound Module yang berbentuk software atau di kenal dengan Virtual Instrument. Produsen-porodusennya antara lain : IK Media dengan product-nya : Sample Tank, Sonic Synth, Microslav Philharmonic, etc. Native Instrument dengan produknya : FM7 ( DX7 software version ), FM 8, battery, Pro53, etc. atau Steinberg dengan product-nya : Halion, The Grand, Hypersonic, dsb. Tidakketinggalan para produsen seperti E-Mu yang sebelumnya membuat sound module hardware seperti Proteus, Planet earth, Virtuoso dsb. juga merilis versi Virtual-nya. Bahkan untuk memainkan CD Sampling AKAI tidak perlu lagi memakai Hardware, karena Halion, Sample tanks, V Sampler sudah compatible dengan format AKAI.

Setelah sebulan lebih berdiskusi dengan pabrik penyedia barang ini dan saya test di beberapa keyboard, sekarang saya coba tawarkan kepada Bapak, Ibu & Rekan-rekan di SOLFEGIO FORUM :

Syarat penggunaan :
1. Floppy Disk Drive yang akan diganti harus yang menggunakan socket 34 pins (standart komputer/PC) seperti gambar di bawah ini :

2. Dimensi/ukuran sama persis dengan Floppy disk drive.

Cara Kerja :
1. Di dalam flashdisk kita membuat 100 FOLDER berurutan dari nomor 00 s/d 99. isi maksimal dalam 1 folder adalah = 1,44Mb (sama dengan kapasitas 1 disket).
2. Kita tekan memilih nomor folder yang akan di akses melalui 2 tombol UP & DOWN di emulator ini, lalu menekan tombol DISK (atau sejenisnya) di keyboard sebagaimana biasanya kita mengakses disket di keyboard.
3. Flash disk yang bisa digunakan adalah flash disk yang umum di jual di pasaran.
4. Kapasitas flashdisk yang dibutuhkan hanya = 100 x 1,44Mb = 144Mb. jadi ga ada gunanya pake flashdisk yang bergiga-gigabyte Laughing
